A whopping 61 Kellogg Community College student-athletes posted a 3.0 or above cumulative GPA throughout the 2024-25 academic year to earn either Academic All-Conference or Academic All-MCCAA honors. Academic All-Conference honors are earned by student-athletes who post a 3.00 – 3.199 GPA and pass 24 credit hours during the current academic year. Academic All-MCCAA honors are earned by those with a 3.20 or above GPA and 24 credit hours passed during the current academic year. Additionally, 5 Bruin teams earned MCCAA Academic Team status. To achieve MCCAA Academic Team status, a MCCAA sponsored sport must record a 3.0 or above cumulative team GPA throughout the current academic year.
The 2024-25 academic year will be one to remember for Kellogg Community College Athletics as Bruin student-athletes shined both in competition and in the classroom. With standout performances, record-breaking achievements, and a continued commitment to academic excellence, KCC Student-Athletes and Coaches have earned some much-deserved recognition.
The Kellogg Community College baseball team traveled to Enid, Oklahoma beginning on May 24th for the 2025 NJCAA DII World Series. Bruins won their way there for the second consecutive season, sweeping the Region 12 tournament! While in Enid, the Bruins went 2-2 finishing 5th in the Nation.
The Kellogg Community College baseball team traveled to Jackson College May 15-17 for the Championship Round of the NJCAA Region 12 Baseball Tournament. Bruins swept the tournament to advance to the World Series for the second consecutive season!
