Soccer Tops SC4 4-1

The Kellogg Community College soccer team traveled to St. Clair County Community College on Saturday, September 14th for a conference match. After a slow start, the Bruins came away with the win!  

SC4 | W, 4-1

Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "We had a very slow start today, and gave up an early goal. We had a very pointed talk at halftime, and agreed that we needed to shift the energy. The ladies did just that, and controlled the majority of the second half. We were sharper, more intense, and created some great scoring chances." He continued, "I was proud of the adjustments to our attitude, intensity, and execution in the second half. To get four goals in the span of about 16 minutes is a pretty special effort."

Next up, Bruins travel to Schoolcraft College for for a rematch of the 2023 Region 12 Final on Friday, September 20th. This game is sure to be exciting with two top-15 ranked teams and will start at 2:30 p.m. for kickoff.
