Soccer Falls to Schoolcraft

The Kellogg Community College soccer team traveled to Schoolcraft College on Friday, September 20th for a conference match. After a tight first half, and more battling in the second half, Bruins fell 2-0.

Schoolcraft | L, 2-0

Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "Today was a great test for us against a top ten ranked team, and a team we know that we'll face again in the Region XII tournament if we want a chance at another title. It was cagey for the first 45, with Schoolcraft logging a goal on two shots, while we only tallied a lone shot." He continued, "Losing is never easy, and we're disappointed with the result, but these tests are what makes a team strong and prepares them for what we'll face down the road come playoff time."

Next up, Bruins host to St. Clair County Community College for a non-conference match-up on Wednesday, September 25 for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff.
