The Kellogg Community College soccer team hosted Muskegon Community College on Saturday, September 7th for the conference opener and came away with the win!

Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "Muskegon came in and played a tough, physical game today. They certainly weren't going to let us have an inch, and it frustrated us a bit, I think. They didn't leave a lot of space in the center of the park, and that was a problem that needed solving. We had a lot of the ball and just didn't do a whole lot with it in terms of dangerous chances. It isn't a bad day when you leave a lot of chances on the field and still come away with the win and a clean sheet."
Next up, Bruins travel to St. Clair County Community College for some more soccer action on Saturday, September 14th with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
