Women's XC at Muskegon Invite
The Kellogg women's cross country team competed on Friday, October 12th at the Muskegon Jayhawks Invite. The team placed 12th, and seven of the women had personal records (PRs).
Head Coach Tom Shaw said, "The Bruins finished 12th of 24 total teams and 5th of 12 NJCAA teams in the race today. Sophomore Brenna once again led the Bruins with a solid time of 22:07. Freshman Brook Scott lowered her PR time in the race by 1 minute 54 seconds (29:14), Freshman Jaiden Anderson lowered her season PR by 1 minute 27 seconds (27:59), Freshman Riley Maisner lowered her PR by 1 minute 18 seconds (27:59). Other PRs included: Freshman Chloe Badger (23:12), Freshman Libby Butchart (23:58), Freshman Olivia Butler (24:12), Freshman Kirsten Wedding (29:21)."
Bruins are back in action on Friday, October 25 at 12:00 p.m. at the NJCAA Region XII Championship in Goodells, MI.
