Women's Cross Country Ranked 7th

The Kellogg women's cross country team is ranked seventh in the Nation for NJCAA DIII teams after their first race of the season last Friday, August 30 at the Skippers Early Bird Invitational. The Bruins finished 10th overall out of 17 competing programs, and 12 full teams.

Head Coach Tom Shaw said, "The Bruins finished 10th of 17 teams participating in this race. Sophomore Brenna Withers started off her season with an excellent 15th place finish of 95 runners. Her 22:08 time on a tough 5k course sets her up to have a banner year. Withers qualified for the national championship race with her time. Our 6 first-year runners showed grit on a tough day. Shout out to Freshman Chloe Badger (25:24) and Freshman Libby Butchart (25:35) with excellent starts to their season."

Bruins are back in action on Friday, September 13 at the Raider-Knight Invite in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
