The Kellogg Community College baseball team traveled to Grand Rapids Community College on May 8 for the Opening Round of the NJCAA Region 12 Baseball Tournament. Bruins swept the Raiders to advance!

Head Coach Eric Laskovy said, "There was some really good baseball from both sides today. Danny Calhoun and Caleb Kidd gave us big-time starts, and we needed it, as it took our offense time to get going. Sawdon was also strong in relief. We were good when things were hard today, and our staff couldn't be prouder! On to the final four. Go Bruins!"
Next up, Bruins are headed to the Region 12 Tournament Championship Round (4-team double elimination) hosted by Jackson College from May 15-17.
