The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) both announced their 2023-24 academic awards, and 53 Bruins and two teams were named among the honorees.
Kellogg Community College’s women’s bowling team finished seventh in the nation at the recent National Junior College Athletic Association Women’s Bowling Championship, and two bowlers earned individual postseason awards.

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and National Junior College Athletic Association announced their 2022-2023 academic awards, and 44 Bruins and four teams were named among the honorees. To earn MCCAA or NJCAA All-Academic Team honors, a team must achieve a 3.0+ team GPA in the current academic year. NJCAA All-Academic Team individual honorees must achieve 3.60 GPA or higher for each respective team. Academic All-Conference honors are earned by student-athletes who post a 3.0+ GPA and pass 24 credit hours during the current academic year. Academic All-MCCAA honors are earned by those with a 3.2+ GPA and 24 credit hours passed during the current academic year.
