Four Kellogg Community College cross country runners earned postseason athletics awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and/or National Junior College Athletic Association for their performances this season.
The Kellogg Community College men's cross country team competed in the Jayhawk Invite on October 11th. There was a lot to celebrate today in Muskegon.
The KCC men's cross country team team ran on a hard, technical and very hilly course for the MCCAA Western Conference Meet on Friday, September 26. The temperature was hot for this time of the year to add to the difficult race course today.
The KCC men’s cross country team entered their second race of the season against a small race field but a powerhouse field (NCAA DII, NAIA ranked, and NCAA DIII ranked teams in the field). The Bruins had 6 of 9 runners improved their time form their last race, qualifying for the NJCAA National Championship as a team in this race.
