The Kellogg Community College soccer team opened their 2024 campaign on the road against Grand Rapids Community College on Wednesday, Aug. 28. After 90 minutes of play, the Bruins came home with the win.

GRCC | W, 3-2

Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "We definitely saw a much improved GRCC group as compared to last season. That said, we were able to control the majority of the game and create a number of good scoring chances that I thought we could have done better with. All-in-all, the ladies played well and we're learning and growing every time we hit the field together. I'm proud of the effort, and now we look forward to a top 15 matchup Thursday in our home opener."

Next up, Bruins host NJCAA DII 10th ranked Iowa Central Community College on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 3:00 p.m. The Bruins are ranked 15th, so this top-15 match-up is sure to be a great game.
