The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) both announced their 2023-24 academic awards, and 53 Bruins and two teams were named among the honorees.
The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and National Junior College Athletic Association announced their 2022-2023 academic awards, and 44 Bruins and four teams were named among the honorees. To earn MCCAA or NJCAA All-Academic Team honors, a team must achieve a 3.0+ team GPA in the current academic year. NJCAA All-Academic Team individual honorees must achieve 3.60 GPA or higher for each respective team. Academic All-Conference honors are earned by student-athletes who post a 3.0+ GPA and pass 24 credit hours during the current academic year. Academic All-MCCAA honors are earned by those with a 3.2+ GPA and 24 credit hours passed during the current academic year.

The Bruin Men’s Bowling team is back for the 2023 season and were excited to hit the lanes last Friday for their season opener. Head Coach Brad Morgan is excited for the season, as the men’s team consists of mostly returners, and one newcomer.
