2024 Region XII and MCCAA Baseball Awards

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and NJCAA Region XII have released the 2024 Post-Season Baseball Awards. Ten Bruins notched awards, including All-Region XII, Region XII Tournament Team, All-MCCAA, Western Conference Player of the Year, Western Conference First and Second Teams, and Western Conference Honorable Mention. Additionally, Coach Eric Laskovy was named the MCCAA and the Great Lakes District Coach of the Year.
Bruins Walk-Off Game One of the 2024 World Series

The Kellogg Community College baseball team won game one of the NJCAA DII Baseball World Series on May 25th with a walk off single in the bottom of the 11th inning! The Bruins advance to the next round where they will face off against Louisiana State University-Eunice on Sunday, May 26th at 1:00 PM CT.
Bruins Nab Two More Wins at GOCC

The Kellogg Community College baseball team nabbed two more wins on the road on April 18th at Glen Oaks Community College. They are 29-7 overall, and 13-2 in conference play, and remain the only NJCAA DII Top 20 ranked team in the state and region.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team topped Region 12 opponent Jackson College on Monday, April 15th. The Bruins' overall record is now 27-7, and they are 11-2 in conference play. They remain the lone team from Michigan in the NJCAA DII Top 20 Rankings.

The Kellogg Community College baseball finished the sweep of their week, and Ancilla College with two more wins on Sunday, April 14th. They are 26-7 overall and 11-2 in conference play.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team took two games from Ancilla College on Saturday, April 13th at home. The Bruins' overall record is now 24-7, and they are 9-2 in conference play.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team had a great offensive day at Mott Community College on Monday. The Bruins are still in the NJCAA rankings at No. 20. KCC is currently the only ranked baseball team in the state.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team battled with KVCC through 4 tough games, coming out victorious and sweeping the week. On Monday, April 8th they climbed back into the NJCAA DII National Rankings, and sit at No. 20.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team topped Jackson College on Monday, April 1st in a 9-inning Region 12 game. Eight pitchers combined for the shutout, with timely hits securing the win for the Bruins.

Laskovy Notches Milestone 600 Wins

A doubleheader sweep in Ohio earlier in the month brought Kellogg Community College’s decorated Head Baseball Coach Eric Laskovy to a record of 600 career wins coaching the Bruins.

The Kellogg Community College Baseball team took advantage of unseasonably warm temperatures earlier this month to start their 2024 season. The Bruins began the season 2-0 before heading to Louisiana for their annual spring trip.
Baseball has Five Early Commitments

The Kellogg Community College baseball team is notorious for developing and graduating students to their next stop. On average, the Bruins send 12-16 players onto the next level each year. This year will be no different, with five Bruins already committed for the 2025 season at their next school.
