Coach Stephen May enters his second season as a volunteer assistant with the KCC volleyball program. He brings over three decades of technical coaching and program leadership to the court. Throughout his coaching career, Coach May has served as Head Varsity Coach – Charlotte HS (2020–2024), Head Coach – Lansing Community College, Head Coach – Team USA Men’s CSIT Games (Spain, 2019), Co-Founder – Primal Training Systems (National Camp Leader), and International Coaching Study – Japan’s Pro V-League. 

 

From high school varsity to collegiate sidelines and international competition, he’s trained thousands of athletes and coaches nationwide. As co-owner of Primal Training Systems, he leads team camps across the U.S. each summer. Coach May brings technical training and experience to gym each day, and has been a valuable addition to the Bruins volleyball coaching staff.
