
Women's Basketball Post Season Awards
Three Kellogg Community College women's basketball players earned postseason athletic awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and/or National Junior College Athletic Association for their performance on the court this season.
KCC women's basketball postseason award winners include:
- Freshman forward Dayshuana Crowley (South Haven/South Haven High School) NJCAA Region XII Division II All-Region Team, All-MCCAA Team, MCCAA First Team All-Western Conference, MCCAA Western Conference All-Freshman Team
- Sophomore guard Makayla Rain Birchett (Dearborn Heights/Annapolis High School), MCCAA Honorbale Mention All-Western Conference
- Sophomore post/forward Alana Compton (Middleville/Thornapple Kellogg High School), MCCAA Honorable Mention All-Western Conference
Additionally, Crowley finished the season ranked 7th nationally in points per game with 22.1, and in the nation's top 30 in rebounds with 10.3 per game. The women's basketball team, led by third-year Head Coach Sal Konkle, finished sixth in the MCCAA Western Conference.
