The Kellogg Community Men's Cross Country team, along with two Bruins from the Women's Cross Country team traveled to Huntsville, Alabama to participate in the NJCAA National Championship on November 11. The Bruins finished their season strong at Nationals with 2 Personal records, and the men's team finished 7th - the second best finish in men's program history!
The Kellogg Community College Cross Country Teams traveled to the NJCAA DIII Region XII Race today in Byron Center, Michigan. Both teams had a great race, but came up just short of the crown, finishing runner-up!
The KCC Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams traveled to the Grand Rapids Community College meet on Friday, September 15. The men's team finished 11th while the women finished 13th on the day. Three Bruins posted Personal Records on the GRCC course.
The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and National Junior College Athletic Association announced their 2022-2023 academic awards, and 44 Bruins and four teams were named among the honorees. To earn MCCAA or NJCAA All-Academic Team honors, a team must achieve a 3.0+ team GPA in the current academic year. NJCAA All-Academic Team individual honorees must achieve 3.60 GPA or higher for each respective team. Academic All-Conference honors are earned by student-athletes who post a 3.0+ GPA and pass 24 credit hours during the current academic year. Academic All-MCCAA honors are earned by those with a 3.2+ GPA and 24 credit hours passed during the current academic year.
