Eight Bruins Earn Fall 2022 Post-Season Awards

It was a strong fall for men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, and volleyball. A total of eight Bruins earned post-season awards for their efforts this fall from the MCCAA and/or Region XII of the NJCAA.
Bruins Running Fast this Cross Country Season

Kellogg Community College's cross country teams have been working hard all season long. This weekend finished up their final race before the upcoming MCCAA and Region XII Championships on Oct. 29th in Grand Rapids. So far this season, Coach Shaw and his crew have been putting in the time and it has been paying off. This weekend, every Bruin had a Season or Personal Best time.

New head coach, Tom Shaw starts his tenure with plenty of KCC history in his back pocket. Shaw recently retired after 15 years as the KCC Athletic Director. “I am excited to get back into coaching,” says Shaw. “I started as a coach and will finish as a coach. Full circle is a fresh way to end my career.” Shaw has several returners on the men’s and women’s teams for this fall.
