Volleyball on 7 Match Win Streak

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team played two more on Saturday, September 2 for day two of the Owens CC Tournament. They swept the weekend, going 4-0 (2-0 on day two) as they faced off against Mott Community College at 10:45am followed by Lorain County Community College at 4pm. With this weekend's wins, they extend their winning streak to 7!

Mott | W, 3-1

Stat Leaders: Gabrianna Kringle - 9 kills, 18 digs, 4 aces; Jordyn Arnold - 11 kills, 19 digs; Julia May - 29 assists, 18 digs, 6 kills; Antonia Keith - 2 solo blocks, 9 block assists; Kate Doyle - 22 digs.

Head Coach, Judy Mason said, "Clean sweep this weekend! The first game was a high energy match, and our serve-receive and defense really helped keep us alive. Our court smarts and energy are really coming together! Second game we worked hard on some unpredictable plays, hung in there, and got it done. This team is putting in the work!" Mason continued, "I am proud to say that with this weekend's sweep, our win streak is now 7 in a row!"

Bruins are coming home this week as they host Henry Ford College for their home opener on Thursday, September 7th. First serve is at 6:30 pm at the Miller Building on the North Avenue Campus.
