Kringle Nabs MCCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

Gabrianna Kringle is the MCCAA Western Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for Aug. 21-27. She helped her team to two wins at the Schoolcraft Tri: 3-1 over Schoolcraft College and 3-0 over Montcalm Community College.

Kringle is a freshman outside hitter, who had an all-around week with 22 kills (.277), 35 digs, eight assists and five service aces. She is a leader for the volleyball team, and Head Coach Judy Mason said, "Gabi's on-court leadership keeps us alive in tough situations. The team follows her lead and supports her and each other well. I'm very excited for Gabi to recieve this honor!"
