Volleyball Concludes in Post-Season Play
November 20, 2023
The Kellogg Community College volleyball team concluded their season in the NJCAA Great Lakes District B Tournament, Nov. 2-4, 2023. This year marks the first since 2017 that the volleyball team has qualified for post-season play. The Bruins went 1-2 at the tournament, and four team members notched MCCAA Post-Season Awards.
Volleyball Splits Week 7

The Kellogg Community College volleyball absolutely dominated in their 3-0 home win against Ancilla College on October 3, only allowing Ancilla to score 24 points in the entire match. Later in the week, they traveled to Lansing Community College where they fell, 0-3.
Volleyball Goes 1-3 at GRCC Invite

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team traveled to Grand Rapids this weekend where they faced off against four opponents. The Bruins went 1-3, topping Macomb Community College, but falling to Grand Rapids Community College, McHenry County College, and Muskegon Community College.
Volleyball Wins Blaze of Glory Game

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team hosted Southwestern Michigan College for the annual Blaze of Glory tailgate with student life, and put on a show. The Bruins won the 5-set thriller, putting their overall record to 11-4.
Kringle Named MCCAA Volleyball Player of the Week

Gabrianna Kringle is the MCCAA Western Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 11-19. She helped her team to a huge 5-set win over Lansing Community College on Tuesday and led them through a 5-set battle with Lake Michigan on Thursday.

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team traveled to Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Tuesday, September 19 and won in four sets over the Cougars.
Volleyball Battles, Splits the Week

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team played Lansing Community College on Tuesday, September 12 at home and nabbed a huge 5-set win. Thursday, September 14 they traveled to Lake Michigan College where they battled to 5 sets, but fell short.

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team hosted Henry Ford College On Sept. 7 for their home opener, where they completed a clean sweep of the Hawks.
Volleyball Sweeps Day One of Owens Tourney

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team played on Friday, September 1 for the first day of the Owens CC Tournament. They came away 2-0 with the sweep, as they faced off against College of Lake County at 11:45am followed by Cuyahoga Community College at 5pm.
Volleyball on 7 Match Win Streak

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team played two more on Saturday, September 2 for day two of the Owens CC Tournament. They swept the weekend, going 4-0 and 2-0 on day two as they faced off against Mott Community College at 10:45am followed by Lorain County Community College at 4pm. With this weekend's wins, they extend their winning streak to 7!

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team played on Friday, August 25 at the Schoolcraft Tri. They came home 2-0 with the sweep, as they faced off against Schoolcraft at 2pm followed by Montcalm Community College at 4pm.
Kringle Nabs MCCAA Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

Gabrianna Kringle is the MCCAA Western Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for Aug. 21-27. She helped her team to two wins at the Schoolcraft Tri: 3-1 over Schoolcraft College and 3-0 over Montcalm Community College.

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team played on Saturday, August 19 for day two of Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, IL. The Bruins played a 5-set thriller against North Iowa Area Community College at 9AM CDT, where they fell in a close match. Later in the day, they dominated Elgin Community College in a three set match at 3PM CDT.
Volleyball Opens Season at OWT

The Kellogg Community College volleyball team opened their 2023 season at the Opening Weekend Tournament in Rockford, IL on Friday, August 18. The Bruins faced off against Lincoln Trail College at 3PM CDT followed by Waubonsee Community College at 5PM CDT, ultimately falling to both opponents.
KCC Volleyball 2023 Season Preview

The 2023 KCC Volleyball team began practice earlier this month under the direction of Head Coach Judy Mason. This will be Coach Mason's first season at the helm, after many seasons as an assistant within the program. They kick off their competitive season next week as they travel to Rockford, IL for the Opening Weekend Tournament.
