Soccer Tops Owens 4-0

The Kellogg Community College women's soccer team traveled to Owens Community College on Sunday, September 17 where they picked up a decisive 4-0 win.

Owens | W, 4-0

Allison Dietzel started the party 3 minutes into the game with a goal inside 18. She followed that up with a nice dribble through goal in minute 20. Aubrey Phenicie got in on the action just before the half with her own dribble through goal in minute 42. Rounding out the scoring on the day was Rayna Richardson with a combo finish from 3 yards thanks to Phenicie and Emilia Braman

Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "The squad closed out a very busy week on the road today in convincing fashion. The ladies were composed and stayed patient, picking their opportunities to create chances. Allie Dietzel stood out today, scoring on both of her shots on frame. She's always a big player for us in the midfield, but has really broken out this week in terms of goal production." Butcher continued, "I also have to give a shout to our back line and goalkeeper. Though they weren't put to the test often today, they snuffed out Owens' attack early and often."

Up next, the No. 19 ranked Bruins road trip to No. 7 Schoolcraft College on Wednesday, September 20. Kick will be at 3:00 pm in Livonia, Michigan.
