Griecci Named MCCAA Goalie of the Week

Freshman Goalkeeper, Airanna Griecci was named the MCCAA Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for the period of Sept. 4-11.

Griecci came up with five huge saves against St. Clair County Community College to preserve a 3-1 win for the Bruins. Two of her most important saves came from free kicks just outside the 18-yard box as she tipped each shot just over the crossbar. Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "Airanna played through a lot of contact on crosses and corner kicks, but she persevered after two separate visits from the training staff and continued to play!"
