Head Coach, Sal Konkle said, "I am so very proud of this team... We have a group of sophomores who have propelled our team from last to first. Great competitors and better people. We still have work to do [in the playoffs next week]."

The following week, the Bruins hosted Lake Michigan College for a playoff game, where they proved their worth once again, topping the Redhawks 77-48. Coach said " [I am] so very proud of our effort and execution! This team has continued to exceed expectations and has made steady growth in the course of the season."
