WBB Dominates the Week

The KCC Women's Basketball team played three games on the road this week, and came home with three wins! They topped the University of Olivet JV 65-54, and then headed north for the weekend. The Bruins came home from up north with big wins: 100-50 at North Central Michigan College and 72-47 at Kirtland Community College.

Head Coach Sal Konkle stated, "We made a big step tonight in trusting and executing our game plan. Definitely a step forward and something to build on. I am proud of this team."
 
Dec. 1: North Central Michigan | W, 100-50

"We had a slow start but once we improved our defense our offense followed. It was obvious that our defense fueled our offense. The team shot the ball extremely well which in turn fueled our offense," said Coach Konkle about the game.

of the win, Konkle said, "It's great to get another win. Today's win ties last year's win total. It wasn't necessarily a pretty win, but it was a gutsy performance for our team playing back to back days. We had to grind this one out and sometimes that is what it takes. I continue to be proud of this team."
