MBB 2-2 in MCCAA Play, 15-2 Overall

The KCC Men's Basketball team has bounced back from a short blip in their success. The Bruins are currently 2-2 in conference play, and 15-2 overall. They topped Southwestern Michigan before falling to KVCC and Glen Oaks. They bounced back with a big win over Lake Michigan on Saturday. 

The Bruin's offense is now led by Sam Hoskin (Detroit/Renaissance) who is knocking down an average of 14.3 PPG, followed by freshman Ke'Marion Tucker who is adding 12.6 PPG. Jakeem Cole (Chicago/Perspectives), James M. Isaiah Moore (Three Rivers/Three Rivers), and Brandon Moore (Lima, OH/Lima Senior) are all adding 8+ PPG. Dishing out to that crew are sophomore Jalen Jackson (Warren/Lake Shore) with 2.2 AST/G, Cole with 2.1 AST/G, and freshmen Mikial Miller (Indianapolis/Cardinal Ritter) and Brandon Moore (Lima/Lima Senior) with almost 2 AST/G each.  

Leading the defense for the Bruins are Hoskin with 6.9 REB/G, and Brandon and Isaiah Moore with 5.2 REB/G each. Brandon Moore leads the team in steals, averaging over 2 per game. 

Bruins head to Lansing Community College on Wednesday, Jan. 31 for another conference matchup. Tip-off will follow the women's game and be at approximately 7:30 p.m.
