Three MBB Players Notch Post-Season Awards

Join us in congratulating the three men's basketball players who notched 2022-23 Post-Season Awards: Rasheed Dyson, Brett White, and Sam Hoskin!  

Rasheed Dyson (Chicago/Evergreen Park) cleaned up, notching NJCAA All-Region XII, All-MCCAA, MCCAA Western Conference First Team and All-Defensive team honors. Rasheed led the team's defense this year on the court. He was also top 3 in scoring and rebounding with 421 points and 184 rebounds. 

Brett White (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Central) also cleaned up on awards, earning NJCAA All-Region XII, All-MCCAA, MCCAA Western Conference First Team honors. Brett led the team in most categories this year including scoring and rebounding, with 554 points and 204 rebounds. 

Sam Hoskin (Detroit/Renaissance) earned MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention for his efforts this season. Sam notched 312 points and grabbed 201 boards for the Bruins this year. 

Kellogg basketball season wrapped up in March, with men's basketball hosting a playoff game. This was the first time in 16 years that the team played in the post-season consecutive season. Additionally, the team's winning percentage and 2nd place finish in the MCCAA west was the first time in 16 years as well.
