Bruins Top Rochester JV

The KCC men's basketball team notched their second straight win, and 4 overall on the season Thursday night. They traveled to Rochester University JV and pulled the win with a final score of 87-64.

Leading the way for the Bruins for the second time this week, was double-double from freshman center Sam Hoskin (Detroit/Renaissance) who sank 21 with 10 boards, and 3 assists. Sophomore guard Brett White (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Central) matched Hoskin's 21 points, while grabbing 7 rebounds and 3 steals while dishing out 8 assists. Also contributing were sophomore forwards London Gillery (Detroit/Hazel Park) who sank 18 points for the Bruins with 5 rebounds and 7 assists while Rasheed Dyson (Chicago,IL/Evergreen Park) added 15 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists.

Coach Proefrock commented, "For the second straight game we scored nearly 90 points! I was pleased with how unselfish we were on offense, making extra passes allowing for wide open shots. As a result we had five guys score double figures tonight. Good win for the Bruins tonight!"

Your Bruins are 4-3-0 overall, and return to action at home on Wednesday, Dec. 7 vs. #9 Macomb Community College. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. following the women's game.
