Bruins Sweep KVCC, Ranked Top 20 after 5-0 Week

The Kellogg Community College baseball team battled with KVCC through 4 tough games, coming out victorious and sweeping the week. On Monday, April 8th they climbed back into the NJCAA DII National Rankings, and sit at No. 20. KCC is currently the only ranked baseball team in the state.

Saturday Coach's Notes: "Two hard fought wins. Bruins showed some resiliency today in the face of adversity. Great opportunity to take the series vs KVCC tomorrow in the stadium."

Sunday Coach's Notes: "Very proud of our team completing a four game sweep over a solid Kalamazoo Valley team. We were at our best when it was required and several players displayed the kind of toughness we have come to expect from our program."

Next up, the Bruins have a non-conference game on Tuesday at Mott CC, followed by the weekend 4-game series with Marian University's Ancilla College.
