Eight Bruins Earn Fall 2022 Post-Season Awards
It was a strong fall for men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, and volleyball. A total of eight Bruins earned post-season awards for their efforts this fall from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and/or Region XII of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
KCC's falls post-season award winners include:
- Sophomore men's cross country runner Reece Ratliff, of Battle Creek/Lakeview HS: NJCAA Division III All-Region XII
- Freshman women's cross country runner Rowen Talmage, of Battle Creek/Highland Academy: NJCAA Division III All-Region XII
- Sophomore women's soccer forward/defender Allison Biergeder, of Battle Creek/Pennfield HS: MCCAA All-Region, Second Team All-MCCAA
- Freshman women's soccer forward Sara Bruns, of Kalamazoo/Portage Northern HS: Second Team All-MCCAA, MCCAA All-Freshman Team
- Sophomore women's soccer midfielder/defender/forward Chloe Leugers, of Marshall/Marshall HS: Honorable Mention All-MCCAA
- Freshman women's soccer midfielder/defender Katie Williams, of Big Rapids/Big Rapids HS: Honorable Mention All-MCCAA, MCCAA All-Freshman Team
- Sophomore women's volleyball middle blocker Abby Herman, of Coldwater/Coldwater HS: Second Team All-Western Conference
- Freshman women's volleyball outside hitter Jordyn Arnold, of Mattawan/Mattawan HS: Honorable Mention All-Western Conference
