Academic Assistance

Each student-athlete at KCC is encouraged to make academic success the guiding force of their experience while at the college. The college's Athletic Academic Assistance Program (AAP) is a program created by the staff of the Athletic, English and Physical Education departments with this in mind and to focus on the academic success of each of KCC's student-athletes.

Designed around the core of Study Skills 111, the program combines the efforts of tutors, instructors, coaches and, most importantly, student-athletes to work toward student success in the classroom. While it is the student-athlete's responsibility to progress academically and maintain NJCAA athletic eligibility standards through academic progress, the AAP takes into account the difficulties some individuals encounter in doing so. Accordingly, the AAP is designed to be a support avenue for the student-athlete.
