Bio
Tom Lawrence, a Battle Creek native, is the athletic trainer at KCC since 2010.
He has an Associates Degree from KCC, Bachelors Michigan State University and Master’s from Western Michigan State University.
Tom served 4 years as the head athletic trainer and instructor of physical education at Albion College. He then joined and subsequently retired after 33 years from the local hospital, working in the physical therapy department and was team leader for the outreach athletic trainers at 5 local high schools. Tom is employed by NovaCare Rehabilitation to provide athletic training services to KCC.
Tom is the past president of the Michigan Athletic Trainers Society and was inducted into the MATS Hall of fame in 2017.
Tom is married with two adult children and two grandchildren.
